One World Trade Center, New York City
In 2015 Donald Martiny was commissioned to create two monumental works which are permanently installed in the lobby of the West entrance to One World Trade Center in New York City. For two months, Donald went to work right in front of the people that traverse the building daily. Lenape (2015) was named after the Native American tribe that once occupied much of New York and New Jersey. Unami (2015) was named after a now-extinct language spoken in Southern New Jersey.
